News - Carnival Group Show

Hello everyone. I'd like to thank you all for a very successful 2007, and take the time to invite you to what is sure to be a beautiful group show. I'll be there exhibiting two new pieces, while enjoying the company of the other artists and guests. Hope to see you there, too.

A message from Jean Bragg Gallery:

"Dear to the hearts of New Orleanians, this time of fantasy, pageantry, and reunions on the neutral ground comes early in 2008. The great day is February 5th, 2008, and the parades roll from Twelfth Night, January 6. The Gallery hosts a number of local artists, who paint subjects from the rural Louisiana festival in Mamou to the glory of Rex on St. Charles Avenue. Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler!" -Jean Bragg Gallery

Cafe Du Monde - Filling Orders

12x9 Oil on Panel

And we're back. New Orleans was wonderful this time around. I met some very fine people and was treated to a remarkable dinner, courtesy of the Jean Bragg Gallery. Such great hostesses.
Here is one of the pieces I delivered to them. It is a 12x9 oil on panel and is now available through their fine establishment.

Cafe Du Monde - Circa 1960 (#2)

8x10 Acrylic on Panel
Collection of the Artist

I'm gearing up for a trip to New Orleans to deliver several pieces to the gallery. I wound up with some work that I don't want to part with. Not necessarily the best of the bunch, but dear to me for one reason or another. This is one of those pieces. It's an 8x10 acrylic on panel.
Soon I'll be showing you some of the work that will be available from Jean Bragg Gallery after Wednesday. Stay tuned.
